Your child deserves
fair playing time
PlayFairly gives coaches the tools to plan, track, and prove that every player gets their fair share of match minutes.
Sound familiar?
You drive 30 minutes to the match. Your kid sits on the bench for most of the first half. They come on for 10 minutes, then get subbed off again. Meanwhile, the same three or four players seem to play the entire match, every week.
You don't want to be "that parent" — but it doesn't feel fair. And when you mention it to the coach, you get a vague "I try to give everyone a go."
The problem usually isn't bad intentions. It's that managing substitutions for 14-18 kids in real time is genuinely hard. Coaches forget who's been on, lose track of time, and default to the players they know will perform.
How PlayFairly changes this
Planned before the match
The coach creates a substitution plan before kickoff — not on the fly. Every player is assigned specific time blocks and positions.
Tracked during the match
A live timer tracks every player's minutes in real time. The coach follows the plan with one-tap substitutions.
Graded after the match
Every match gets a fairness grade — A through F — showing exactly how balanced playing time was across the squad.
Visible across the season
Season analytics show cumulative minutes per player. No more guessing — you can see the data over time.
What this means for you
When your coach uses PlayFairly, playing time decisions are planned, tracked, and graded — not left to memory or gut feeling. If you ever have a question about your child's minutes, the data is there.
This doesn't mean every player gets identical minutes in every match — that's often mathematically impossible with squad sizes and different formations. But it means that over a season, every player gets a genuinely fair share. And you can see the proof.
Common questions from parents
Can I use PlayFairly myself?
PlayFairly is designed for coaches. But if you're interested in the app, the best thing to do is mention it to your child's coach. They can sign up and start using it for free.
Does it show me my child's playing time?
The coach controls what's shared. PlayFairly tracks per-player minutes and generates fairness grades that coaches can reference when talking to parents.
What if my coach doesn't use it?
You can suggest it! PlayFairly is free during the beta and takes about 2 minutes to set up a team. Most coaches appreciate when parents point them toward tools that make their job easier.
Is my child's data safe?
Yes. All data is stored locally on the coach's device. PlayFairly works entirely offline and doesn't require player email addresses or accounts. Read our privacy policy for details.
